The Tulare County Health and Human Services Agency (HHSA) have begun the process of initiating the RecreationRx program in their county by inviting over 100 recreation providers and others with a stake in the public's health to an informational forum.  By taking this first step, Tulare County is well on its way to increasing access to safe and structured activity for the highest risk families in their county.

As their program develops... RecreationRx.org will provide an online forum for Tulare County, allowing them to provide updates, moderate discussion among stakeholders, order additional resources online, and provide access to other support for program participants to download.

By providing this administrative support for new programs, we hope to make it easier for our partners in health across the state to use the RecreationRx program to make a difference in their communities!
